Choosing the location for our first campaign was an obvious decision. There was no doubt where we wanted to go for our next workation and to create our very first SOLMATE campaign! The answer: the Canary Islands – specifically, Fuerteventura!That’s where it all began! During the pandemic, we went on our very first workation – a combination of work and vacation (btw, the best thing ever!). Since then, we’ve been returning to the islands nonstop!It was there that we discovered the joy of combining work with travel – and we’ve been living that way for a big part of the year ever since.
We’ve created beautiful memories on the islands, and they definitely hold a special place in our hearts. We fell in love with them — and honestly, who wouldn’t? The sun shines here all year round! It’s the only place in Europe with such consistently good weather throughout the entire year — in winter, all roads lead to the Canaries!Even though it's geographically distant, it still belongs to Europe — yet the landscapes are so much more diverse than what we’re used to. And it’s just a 5-hour flight from Poland with only a one-hour time difference!It’s a place where time slows down. Golden beaches stretch for miles, the raw volcanic landscapes take your breath away, the ocean roars loudly, and the sun never stops shining. The island is wild, untamed, and above all — it makes us feel free. There’s a unique, laid-back atmosphere here. It’s our little safe haven in the world. The endless, sun-drenched, wild and untouched landscapes became the inspiration behind our brand.
